A child needs more than food, education and physical safety. They need to know one essential thing.

They are not alone.

We are used to separating the spiritual and the physical, as if they were completely different things. But sometimes the same principle seems to work in both. In a spiritual sense, a person may feel the presence of their family line, ancestors, the memory of generations and the love of those who can no longer be seen. For some, this is faith. For others, it is an inner feeling. You cannot see this support with your eyes, but you may feel it most strongly when life becomes difficult.For a child, it should be different. They should not have to search for this strength in the invisible world.

They should see it beside them.

Parents should become living proof that the child is not alone. When the child is afraid, someone is there. When they make a mistake, they are not destroyed with words. When they are hurting, someone listens. When the outside world turns away, there is still a place they can return to.That is the difference. In the spiritual world, a person may feel invisible support. In the physical world, a child should see and feel that support every day. But the meaning is the same.

This is where inner strength begins to grow. A child raised with love, trust and protection is much harder to break through fear, humiliation or the opinions of others.
