Spiritual Guidance for a Child’s Inner World

A child is more than a newborn in a family.

A child continues the family line and the soul, connecting the past with the future. Behind every child stand generations of lives that made their own life possible. We receive life from those who came before us and pass it on to those who follow.

Protecting a child means protecting the future.

A child enters the world open and pure. They learn from the words and actions of adults, stories, games, toys, and everything around them. Childhood shapes the person they will become. Darkness does not always announce itself. Harmful ideas can become familiar through entertainment, fashion, fear, and cruelty that adults begin to see as harmless.

Spiritual parenting means paying attention to what enters a child’s mind and heart.

Even a toy can carry an image and meaning. Labubu is one example.We are not claiming that Labubu is a demon or has proven supernatural properties. Our concern is that the image of a little monster becomes cute and desirable while adults stop asking why unsettling images are so easily welcomed into a child’s world. This issue goes beyond one toy. When children repeatedly encounter dark images, cruelty, or fear, these things can begin to seem normal. Adults must notice what children see and help them understand it.


We must protect children physically and also nurture their ability to feel compassion, recognize beauty, and distinguish good from evil. They should know that cruelty is not strength and that another person’s pain is never entertainment. What we teach them today will influence how they treat others tomorrow. Love can pass from generation to generation, but so can hatred and fear.

Raising a child is more than preparing them for school or a career. It is a responsibility to the future.

Teach children to protect those who are vulnerable, respect life and nature, remember their family roots, and create rather than destroy. Teach them to stay honest even when a lie is repeated by many.Our generation is one link in a long chain. We choose what to pass on: fear or courage, hatred or love, indifference or compassion. By caring for a child’s inner world today, we honor those who came before us and protect those who will come after us. It is our responsibility to keep that light alive.
